Our journey began with the vision of our founder, Ms. Poornima Ujwal. As a seasoned professional with experience across both government and private mental health institutions, she identified a critical gap: the absence of dedicated spaces serving both mental health practitioners and clients. Frustrated by the lack of environments where therapists could focus solely on quality care - without the burdens of burnout, administrative hassles, or professional isolation - she pioneered one of India's first therapist-centric mental health platforms.
Our journey started with the learnings of our founder, Ms. Poornima Ujwal. A seasoned expert with insight into different kinds of government and private mental health institutions, she found a huge gap! A lack of designated space for mental health professionals and clients alike. She couldn’t find a proper space for therapists where they could focus on the quality of care with clients and not get clouded with burnout, logistics and searching for guidance. This made her create one of the first therapist-centric mental health spaces in India.
Our Founder
Born into a family of healthcare professionals and exposed to India's premier medical institutions, Poornima nevertheless struggled to access mental healthcare as a child. She experienced firsthand how social stigma and mental health illiteracy create barriers to care. This personal journey shaped her professional empathy, particularly for clients battling addiction. Determined to bridge these gaps, she pursued specialized training and collaborated with leading institutions including NIMHANS, NDDTC, and Baroda Medical College to deliver compassionate, quality care.
